Presentations about human diseases

Working as individuals or in pairs, make a presentation (using PowerPoint, OpenOffice Impress, etc.) about a disease which affects any of the following systems:
  • The Skin
  • The Skeleton
  • The Cardiovascular System
  • The Respiratory System
  • The Lymphatic System
  • The Digestive System
  • The Urinary System
  • The Reproductive System
  • The Nervous System
  • The Endocrine System
The presentation should last for about 4-5 minutes using as many slides as necessary.
Don't forget that the first slide should be a cover slide with the title and your name(s) and the last one should be a complete bibliography with all relevant links.

The presentation should include:
  • The causes of the illness.
  • A description of the symtoms.
  • The different stages of the disease.
  • How the disease is treated.
You can work with any presentation application (such as Powerpoint or OpenOffice Impress). Remember: we use Guadalinex in class, with OpenOffice.
